My artistic philosophy marries technical ability with unrelenting curiosity expressed through vibrant color and dramatic tonality. My portrait work is conceptual and intuitive, standing in contrast with a more polished commercial portfolio. I believe the two sides of my creative being complement each other and are necessary in a world of media production that thrives on innovative “scrappiness” while avoiding falling prey to sameness.
